Hargreaves: Best yet to come

Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves is champing at the bit to make his return after more than a year on the sidelines with injury.

Hargreaves, 28, has undergone operations on both knees during the past 12 months after his first two seasons at Old Trafford were ruined by injury.

But after a long 10 months of rehabilitation, the England midfielder has admitted that he is desperate to make his return and make up for lost time.

"The best is yet to come, and I just cannot wait to get back out there," he told MUTV.

"I will be trying to improve my game and achieve the great success I think we are destined for.

"To look back at where I was to where I am now is amazing.

"I just want to be part of it again and have a great season. I cannot wait to pay back some of the faith the fans have shown me."
