Manchester United chief executive David Gill is looking forward to two big games against Celtic after his club were paired with the SPL champions in Champions League Group F.
The two sides have never met in a competitive fixture and Gill believes the two meetings are evenings to relish, with United also facing Benfica and FC Copenhagen in Group F.
Gill told the club's official website: "It's a great draw.
"The Celtic games will be great for everyone, there's a real affinity between United and Celtic. We get on very well at all levels and that relationship has stood the test of time.
"We played them in Roy Keane's testimonial in May and the atmosphere that night was fantastic.
"But now we've got a competitive fixture I'm sure it'll go up by a good few decibels so we're really looking forward to that.
"Benfica put us out of the competition last season so we've got a chance to get revenge.
"We've obviously got a great history and tradition with them as well. Then we have the newcomers Copenhagen, so it's an exciting draw."
