Gill prefers domestic glory

Manchester United chief executive David Gill would prefer to win this season's Premiership title rather than taste success in the Champions League for the first time in eight years.
United have been drawn to play AS Roma in the last eight of European football's premier competition and will meet either AC Milan or Bayern Munich in the semi-finals if they beat the side from the Italian capital.
"It's a personal thing. We've not discussed it internally as we don't want to tempt fate but, for me personally, to win the Premiership would be a fantastic achievement," Gill told Sky Sports News.
"If I had to choose one, which we don't, that would be it. It's a great achievement (being in the quarter finals) as, to be honest, we've under-performed in Europe over the last three years.
"A club of our stature should be in the latter stages of the key cup competitions. I'd just love to get to the final, whoever it is, we're looking forward to it all immensely.
"It's a fantastic draw. Italy's great. Chelsea and Liverpool could meet in the semis. It could be an all-English final. Who knows?"
