Giggs signs new United deal

RYAN Giggs has extended his United contract to the summer of 2011. The Reds have announced the new 12-month deal that will see the newly-crowned BBC Sports Personality of the Year remain at Old Trafford past his 37th birthday. Ryan deserves a new contract and I am sure that he will play for another two years. His form is fantastic at the moment and he is playing some of his best football, said United boss Sir Alex Ferguson. Giggs, who is United's all-time top appearance maker and the most decorated player in the English game added, I am delighted that I have agreed one more year.
