Gibson extends Old Trafford stay

Manchester United central midfielder Darron Gibson has agreed a three-year contract extension at the club.The deal is set to keep the 21-year-old Republic of Ireland international, who made 14 appearances last season, at Old Trafford until at least June 2012.
