Foster forced into knee op

Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster has been forced to undergo knee surgery to correct a problem that has been niggling him for several months.
The 24-year-old England international is back at Old Trafford after two loan seasons at Watford, but was forced to pull out of the recent B international against Albania due to the problem.
Foster has now had keyhole surgery to clean up his right knee, but is waiting to see whether a further operation is needed this summer.
Meanwhile, defender Mikael Silvestre has again pledged to stay at Old Trafford and fight for a first-team spot, despite continued speculation linking him with a return to France.
He told UEFA.com: "I'd never say never about moving back to France, but it's not something I'm thinking about at the moment.
"I think my future is bright. I have two years left on my contract and I'm looking forward to it. There's enough room for me to express myself next season."
