Sir Alex Ferguson refuses to be fooled by Louis Van Gaal's mind games. Bayern Munich's Dutch coach insists United are favourites for the Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Allianz Arena tonight. But Fergie, whose side are also second favourites to win the trophy on May 22 in Madrid, says the Reds will not be lulled into a false sense of security. "He's a clever man. I don't pay any attention to that," said the United boss. "I haven't seen all their games this season but we have seen video footage of a number of games over the last two days. "They have had one or two bad results recently but it doesn't mean they are a bad team. The motivation of getting to the semi-finals will be a strong one for them. We cannot dismiss that. "We are not going to get carried away at any moment that this could be an easy game because it won't be. "It is a game with two clubs with great history. You cannot forget the record that Bayern have in European football and their achievements of the past. "We have met a few times in European football and I was surprised to discover that we haven't beaten them in a European tie, apart from once in Barcelona! "We want to change that. We are in good form and hopefully we can get the result we want. "I respect Bayern and I have great admiration for them as a club. That is what we are playing. We are playing history."
