Fergie welcomes back Park

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was delighted to see Park Ji-Sung back in action in the 4-0 win at Sunderland which took the Red Devils to the top of the Premier League table.

The 26-year-old South Korea international midfielder has been sidelined since the end of March by knee problems, but came on as a substitute against the Black Cats on Boxing Day.

Ferguson told the club's official website: "I was delighted with Park's performance.

"It was an important day for him. He came on and got more than half-an-hour under his belt, so we're all pleased with him.

"He's a natural mover. When his team passes the ball he moves. He's always had a great talent for that and this was another great example of that.

"He kept moving, he kept passing, he kept running behind the Sunderland defence. He gave us a lot of energy and it was good to see."
