Fergie targets top spot

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted that Cristiano Ronaldo and Nemanja Vidic will both start Tuesday's Champions League Group F match against Sporting Lisbon.
The influential duo missed Saturday's shock 1-0 defeat at Bolton Wanderers, but were able to train with the rest of the United squad on Monday.
"Vidic and Ronaldo are both fit," Ferguson confirmed. "They'll be in the squad for Tuesday night."
United have won all four Champions League matches so far this term and are already assured of a last 16 place, but Ferguson is keen to ensure his side finish top of the group.
He added: "The incentives to win are huge for us.
"If we win we've won the group and we'll be seeded for the knockout stage.
"That's important. We've also got an important game against Liverpool straight after the Roma game.
"Beating Sporting would allow us to rest players against Roma. But, our next two results matter to Sporting and Roma, so we have to be fair to both teams and we will be determined to win on Tuesday."
Meanwhile, assistant manager Carlos Queiroz has confirmed United are interested in signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso.
