Fergie queries Bolton's desire
10 May 2008 - 11:56:39
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has questioned whether Bolton Wanderers will be in the right frame of mind when they take on Chelsea in the final round of Premier League fixtures.
United take on Wigan Athletic in their last game with both Ferguson's side and Chelsea locked on the same number of points.
However, the veteran United manager is unsure how Bolton will play after they all but banished any relegation fears last weekend.
Ferguson said: "People are talking about Wigan's integrity but no one has even mentioned Bolton.
"All we've seen is Wigan players saying how they'll beat us. Fine, I've no problem with that.
"Then you hear about Bolton players out all week celebrating. Both teams are safe but one is all keyed up to play Manchester United and the other one is celebrating.
"The only thing that gives me confidence about Bolton is the manager and assistant manager."
