Fergie points to points

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has turned up the heat on Chelsea by claiming his side's superior goal difference will be worth at least a point in the title run in.
Ferguson watched Chelsea slip four points behind United at the top of the table on Boxing Day before issuing the warning to the Red Devils' stuttering title rivals.
"The goal difference helps us, there is no doubt about that," said the United chief. "I have always believed in those terms - ten or 12 goals makes a point.
"If it remains that way, it is something we have to fall back on. Hopefully we won't have to but it is there anyway."
However, Ferguson is refusing to allow complacency to creep into the Old Trafford ranks ahead of Saturday's clash with Reading the side that held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw on Boxing Day.
"We have to be wary of Reading," he added. "I wasn't really surprised by the way they performed at Chelsea, although I was pleasantly delighted by the result.
"It just reinforced what we will have to do this weekend."
