Fergie: Please stay Jose

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson hopes that Jose Mourinho stays put at Chelsea, following recent rumours that the Portuguese could leave the club next summer.
Press reports this week have suggested that Mourinho could walk away from the Premiership champions, having hinted that his January transfer plans had been thwarted by the Stamford Bridge hierarchy.
However, Ferguson would like to see his great rival stay put and continue their battle royal for supremacy in English football.
He told reporters: "I would be disappointed if he left.
"I have enjoyed his company in the times we meet after the game and things like that. He has a good personality. I enjoy the competition against him."
Of Mourinho having spoken of the possibility of moving on, Ferguson added: "Why would Jose be telling anyone his plans? I certainly would not be telling anyone my plans.
"All of a sudden people seem to know what his plans are. I take that with a pinch of salt."
Mourinho had said after the Carling Cup draw at Wycombe Wanderers: "My position is not important.
"What is important is Chelsea, not me, and Chelsea are in a good position - almost in the final of Carling Cup, the last 16 of the Champions League, the fourth round of the FA Cup and second in the league."
