Fergie not buying in window

Manchester United will not be signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov, after Sir Alex Ferguson effectively ruled out making any moves in the transfer window.
United and Chelsea were believed to be interested in prising the unsettled Bulgaria international striker away from White Hart Lane.
Spurs coach Juande Ramos had attempted to ward off interest in his prize asset by placing a £30million price tag on his head.
However, Ferguson insists the Red Devils are not in the market for any new players - whether it be Berbatov or fellow reported transfer target Alan Hutton of Rangers.
"It is the old game they play," said the veteran Scot.
"Everyone's trying to play a game, trying to create speculation about who you are going to buy and, of course, we would have to be buying someone wouldn't we.
"It is the name of the game for Manchester United."
Meanwhile, Ferguson believes Jonny Evans will return to Old Trafford a better player after allowing the young defender to join Sunderland on loan.
He added: "We have let Jonny Evans go on loan to Sunderland and the reason for that is simply that he has not had enough football this first half of the season and the injury he had derailed him certainly.
"We think we are well covered in the centre-back position, so much so that we can let Jonny go there and get the experience because he is going to be a top player.
"He will come back a better player for us because of the experience of going to Sunderland for the next four months."
