Fergie: Greatness beckons

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has tipped his side for great things after watching them see off Everton 3-0 at Old Trafford.
Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Patrice Evra and John O'Shea were enough to keep United three points ahead of Chelsea at the top of the table, with Ferguson excited about the immediate future for the club.
He said: "The players have a lot to work for.
"I think they are on the verge of achieving something great at this club and you don't want to miss these things."
Meanwhile, Ferguson played down the absence of Ryan Giggs, but admitted that Nemanja Vidic could be facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a jaw injury in the weekend draw with Chelsea.
He added: "I felt that with the Benfica game coming up next week we couldn't afford to have some players cold if we needed them.
"I told Ryan Giggs on Sunday he would not be playing because he is 33 and we need to look after the old species.
"Nemanja Vidic is more of a concern as he got an elbow to the jaw in Sunday's home game against Chelsea. We sent him for a scan as we thought it might be fractured.
"He is still in great pain and we had to leave him out because if he got another blow it could be a serious injury."
