The Football Association has decided not to take any action against Sir Alex Ferguson, after the Manchester United manager was accused of making offensive gestures towards Reading fans during Saturday's game.
It had been claimed that the United boss was responding to taunts aimed at him by Royals fans, but he insisted he was simply celebrating his side's second goal in the 2-0 victory.
Ferguson had said of his actions: "All I was doing was expressing my relief at winning what was one of our hardest games of the season.
"Reading always make it tough for us. We ran so much that we clocked up more kilometres than we have in any game this season."
The FA made their decision after studying video evidence of the incident and consulting the fourth official at the Madejski Stadium.
