Fergie counting on Tevez

Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted he has no contingency plan should Manchester United's drawn out bid to sign Carlos Tevez from West Ham United eventually fall through.
Both the Red Devils and West Ham have called on FIFA's Dispute Resolution Chamber to rule on the Argentina striker's proposed move to Old Trafford.
United believe they have agreed a deal with Tevez's adviser Kia Joorabchian, while West Ham claim they own the rights and thus the registration to the controversial striker.
Meanwhile, Kia Joorabchian and the Hammers are at loggerheads after trading verbal blows in the media this week.
Ferguson still hopes the former Corinthians striker will be given the green light to join United and has made no alternative plan should the move eventually fail.
"I am confident Carlos Tevez will sign and I am happy to wait until clearance comes along," said the United boss.
"If it become obvious the situation wasn't going to turn our way we would have to reconsider our plans.
"But I have nothing as a fall-back position at this moment in time."
Earlier in the week, United chief executive David Gill claimed he expected the transfer saga to be resolved before the close of the transfer window on August 31.
He said: "What you find in these situations is that FIFA and the necessary bodies try to make sure that the player can play, whether it's for Manchester United or for West Ham.
"I would have thought that they will do everything they can to make sure the decision is made within the appropriate period."
