    Fergie: No United panic

    23 Jan 2007 - 10:43:00

Sir Alex Ferguson claims Manchester United's 2-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal on Sunday was just a minor blip and not a significant loss of form.

United looked on course to extend their lead over Chelsea at the top of the table to nine points with ten minutes left to play at the Emirates Stadium.

Wayne Rooney had fired the Red Devils into a second-half lead before the Gunners responded to take the points through Robin van Persie and then Thierry Henry.

But despite the late blow, Ferguson was happy with the all-round display of his side and believes they will bounce back.

"I have no worries about the form of the team. It is still good," he told MUTV.

"They were not really posing any threat to us. Then they started resorting to long balls unlike a normal Arsenal team.

"We have to analyse how we lost the goals. That's the best thing. I cannot be disappointed with the overall game itself.

"The players played well and worked hard. There is not a lot I can fault them for."
