Fergie: No problem with Rooney

Wayne Rooney has been declared fit by Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson ahead of their pivotal Premier League clash with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday. Media reports in the week suggested the hitman could be ruled out with a knee problem, but Ferguson insists he is fully fit to take part. Veteran pair Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs could also feature after shaking off their injury concerns in the north west derby. Speaking to the club's official website, Ferguson said: "Wayne is fit and there's nothing wrong with his knee. "Scholes is okay again after an ankle knock and Ryan is a further week on with his training. "Whether I start him or not is another matter. But his and Scholes' experience is invaluable at this time of year."
