Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has reconfirmed that he will not dip into the transfer market again this summer.
The Red Devils chief had reiterated his intentions of sticking with what he has got this season, though one goal in their two opening matches has ignited speculation that he may seek reinforcements.
The pockets are deep at Old Trafford after the £80million sale of Cristiano Ronaldo, but Ferguson will place his faith in youth to back up frontline strikers Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney.
"Did I say we wouldn't make any more signings?" he said when asked about any potential transfer news.
"That is it. I have already made the point - and I am sure of it.
"This is a great group of players."
