Ferdinand receives four-game ban

Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand has been banned for four matches after his appeal against a violent conduct charge was rejected as "frivolous".The defender appeared to swing an arm at Hull striker Craig Fagan during United's 4-0 win on Saturday.
