Ferdinand out of Andorra contest

England defender Rio Ferdinand has been ruled out Wednesday's World Cup qualifier with Andorra through injury. The Manchester United centre-back missed Saturday's 4-0 win in Kazakhstan due to discomfort with a calf injury. It was expected Ferdinand would join up with his England colleagues on Sunday but it has now been confirmed the 30-year-old will miss the game at Wembley.
