Manchester United defender Patrice Evra wants to sign a new contract to remain at Old Trafford, according to his agent.
Evra, 26, has established himself as the first-choice left-back with the Red Devils following his arrival from Monaco in January 2006.
The France international still has 18 months remaining on his existing contract, but agent Federico Pastorello has confirmed his client is looking to pledge his long-term future to the Premier League champions.
"Patrice is under contract until 2009 and he is very happy at Manchester United," he told Sky Sports.
"He has a great relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson and he has a lot of respect for him.
"He would be happy to extend his stay as he enjoys playing with such great players and such a great club."
Evra joined the Red Devils in a £5.5million deal and has made 67 appearances for the club.
