Duffen unfazed by United row

Published: 21 May 2009 - 11:19:00

Hull chairman Paul Duffen has refused to be drawn into the row over the strength of the Manchester United team his side will face this weekend. With United having already won the Premier League, there have been suggestions Sir Alex Ferguson may choose to rest his top names ahead of the Champions League final. That could improve Hull's chances of beating relegation and at the same time anger their rivals at the foot of the table; Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Sunderland. Duffen told Sky Sports News: "From our perspective I'm just delighted our rivals on Sunday are more focused on our opposition than their own. We're happy, we know what we have to do. "Whatever team Manchester United put out it is going to be a very tough ask for us. Even if they put youngsters out they could still field 11 internationals and we have to focus on winning the game. "I feel we have to beat the side in front of us, I really don't worry too much about what other people are going to do and it is not an issue that is going to disturb us."
