Dortmund Star Undecided About Future Amid Manchester United and Real Madrid Interest
Gundogan’s contract expires in 2015 and the German side are keen on renewing his contract and keeping him especially after they lost their two star players, Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski to their rivals Bayern Munich.
Dortmund have required some clarity from the player and will refuse to see him run down his contract like Lewandowski.
“I have not made a final decision yet. BVB are the first team I am talking to,” he was quoted as saying by Sport Bild.
“I will soon make a well-thought decision. But I am keeping my options open at this point.
“Borussia Dortmund have not set me an ultimatum. I am just trying to get healthy again and get back to my best form. That's the main priority for BVB and for myself.”
With Anderson looking set to join Fiorentina, the Red Devils have stepped up their interest in the Dortmund player. But Moyes will have to battle Carlo Ancelotti for this signing after the Spanish Giants have been linked with the midfielder.
