Decision time looms for Neville

Gary Neville faces a career crossroads in the summer. The 35-year-old United captain has become a bit-part player in Sir Alex Ferguson's squad and has revealed he plans to review his Old Trafford future at the end of the season. The Reds have been securing their old guard on new club deals. Ryan Giggs, 36, signed a one-year extension in December while 39-year-old goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar agreed a 12-month contract last week. Fergie has also a new deal is in the offing for 35-year-old midfielder Paul Scholes. However, there has been no mention of Neville's long-term future. Instead, the right back says he is focusing on the campaign run-in before looking to the future. "I have got to decide what I want to do myself first and obviously the club will play a bit part in that because I am a professional," said Neville. "I have to decide what I do and speak to the manager and obviously he will have a big say in that as well! "I am not even thinking about it at the moment. At the age I am at I just want to stay fit and concentrate on the last two months of the season and I will look at it then. "I have an idea in my own head but I want to concentrate on enjoying the next two months. Then I will have a discussion with the manager." Neville's twilight playing years have been dogged by injuries since he suffered an ankle ligament problem three years ago Since then the England star has suffered a series of niggling injuries, the latest being a groin problem in December. "I have played a few games recently and came on for 20 minutes in the Carling Cup final," Neville added who picked up the 20th winners medal of his 16-year career.. " I don't think days like Sunday mean more to me. They mean just as much. "I count my blessings that I have been involved in so many great moments for this club.
