Casillas rejects United talk
Real Madrid star Iker Casillas has rejected speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United. Recent reports in Spain and England have suggested United are lining up a move for Casillas as they look to spend some of the money from Cristiano Ronaldo's impending move to Madrid. However, Casillas has moved quickly to dispel the rumours, insisting he has not heard anything about any possible switch and plans to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu. "There is absolutely nothing, neither from United nor another club," Casillas told AS. "Neither my agent nor Madrid have informed me of any offer, and nobody has called me either. "It's speculation, which is what happens when the transfer market is open." Casillas, who made his debut for Real in 1999, has a contract with the Spanish giants until 2017 and he is determined to honour his deal. "I have a contract with Madrid until 2017 and what I'm thinking about is completing it. Everybody knows Madrid are in my heart and that I'm a White until I die," added Casillas. "I joined Real Madrid as a child and Madrid is my home." Casillas also had a message for Madrid fans who might be fearing he could be on his way out of the club, saying: "The fans should be calm, there is nothing at all from Manchester (United) or any other club. I'm from Spain and from Madrid, and that's it."
