Midfielder Michael Carrick insists Manchester United fans haven't seen the best of him following his big-money move to Old Trafford in the summer.
The England international moved from Tottenham for £18.6million but has earned mixed reviews for his performances despite forming an effective central midfield partnership with Paul Scholes.
"My first aim was to establish myself. Thankfully, I have been able to do that," said Carrick.
"There was always going to be a focus on me. At a big club like this, there were bound to be a lot of eyes on me wondering how I was doing.
"But I have to try to forget about that because I have a job to do.
"The longer it goes on, the better I will get because there is a lot more to come from me, I have no doubt about that."
