Bryan Robson feels the benefit of being Thailand boss with 90,000 haul of Big Macs

Meat sweats: Bryan Robson could be seeing a few Big Macs Bryan Robson is set to land a giant haul of burgers for his Thailand team thanks to a tie-up with McDonald's. The American fast food chain have signed a £550,000 three-year shirt sponsorship deal which includes McDonald's handing over £90,000 of their products. Manchester United legend Robson took over from Peter Reid as boss of the Asian country last month and is already feeling the benefit of working for the Football Association of Thailand - ironically shortened to FAT. Worawi Makudi, the FAT president, said: 'This will be a great help towards our efforts to reach the 2014 World Cup finals. 'This funding will help develop our game, especially youth football, and all the players, junior and senior, will get to enjoy the food too.' The four countries will contest the annual round-robin tournament in the northeastern Thai city of Nakhon Ratchasima from January 17-23.
