Berba in awe of Fergie
Dimitar Berbatov has revealed he has the utmost respect for Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson. The Bulgarian has been linked with a move away from the club this summer amid speculation of a personality clash with the Scot and has come under scrutiny from supporters for his attitude on the pitch. The 28-year-old scored just 14 goals in his first season at Old Trafford but has rubbished claims of a fall out with Ferguson by revealing his admiration for the legendary boss. "All the players have huge respect for him," he said. "You can be tying up your boots but when he begins to talk you just freeze and listen to him. His word is law to us." Berbatov lost his second Champions League final last month having previously suffered defeat with Bayer Leverkusen, but he admits that winning the Premier League was always his main target. "Yes, it was my number one aim," said Berbatov. "Probably, I was much more pleased than my team-mates but it was my first title after all. "I think it's understandable since Ryan Giggs told me he has eleven championship medals."
