Becks confirms Milan move
24 Oct 2008 - 10:30:57
Former England captain David Beckham has confirmed that he will spend two months on loan with AC Milan at the start of next year.
The 33-year-old will play for the Rossoneri during part of his off-season with current club side Los Angeles Galaxy.
The former Manchester United midfielder cannot wait to move to the San Siro, saying via his spokesman Simon Oliveira: "Milan here I come. I want to continue being a footballer.
"Yes, it's all true. I will arrive in Milan at the end of the year and I will stay until February.
"Only European football can take me back to certain levels and only Milan is the right way to refind competitiveness."
Beckham will move back to the MLS after his spell in Italy to continue playing for LA Galaxy.
