Bayern Munich sporting director Christian Nerlinger remains hopeful that his club can show the ambition necessary to persuade Franck Ribery to stay put.
The 26-year-old France international continues to be linked with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona, with Bayern fighting to hold on to their star player.
Nerlinger told Bild am Sonntag: "We have got to provide Franck with the perspective of being on the same level as Europe's elite.
"That is what he wants and then he will be happy in Munich.
In the mid-term, we will have very, very positive conditions here, but we have got to offer him a top European club.
"Obviously Ribery himself is decisive - what does he want and how does he behave."
