Three minutes: A Cesc Fabregas rebounds off Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand and runs wide of Edwin van der Sar's left-hand post. Eight minutes: GOAL - ARSENAL 0 MANCHESTER UNITED 1: Anderson feeds Cristiano Ronaldo down the left, and he cuts the ball back across goal to the far post. Rooney, also on a yellow, comed off to a huge ovation and is replaced by Dimitar Berbatov. 71mins: Arsenal substitute Nicklas Bendtner drills the ball into the side netting from a tight angle. 76mins: GOAL - ARSENAL 1 MANCHESTER UNITED 3: United finish with 10 men after Darren Fletcher is shown a straight red card - and will miss the final - after being judged to have brought down Cesc Fabregas, when he wins the ball. Van Persie nets the penalty. 87mins: Ronaldo almost claims a hat-trick as he rifles another stinging free-kick an inch over the bar.
