Anderson tipped to leave

Reports suggest Anderson has played his last game for Manchester United after producing a string of poor displays.

The Brazilian midfielder was castigated for his performance in last season's Champions League Final defeat to Barcelona and it is believed United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has lost patience with him.

The Daily Mail reports that Anderson was unhappy to be left out of the squad for the Community Shield defeat against Chelsea earlier this month.

The 21-year-old started last week's Premier League game at Burnley but again failed to impress in the 1-0 loss at Turf Moor.

Former FC Porto star Anderson has failed to score in 77 first-team appearances for last season's Premier League winners.
