Anderson signs new Manchester United deal
Brazilian midfielder Anderson has extended his Manchester United contract until June 2015.
The club announced that the former Porto player has penned a four-and-a-half-year extension having returned from long-term injury problems this season.
Anderson told manutd.com: "This is the best club to be at and I would like to thank everyone for the great support I have received over the years. I am looking forward to winning many more trophies with this club and I am so pleased to have signed a new contract."
Anderson took time to settle in Manchester having joined from Porto in 2007, where he was the Portuguese side's key player despite still being in his teens.
However, the sometime Brazil international has produced more consistent performances this season and has been rewarded with the new deal.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said: "We are delighted Anderson has signed a new contract.
"Anderson has developed tremendously since joining the club and he has fantastic potential at only 22 years of age, he is going to be a really top player."
