Altrincham sign Man Utd defender

Blue Square Premier side Altrincham have completed the signing of Manchester United reserve right-back Scott Moffatt on a month's loan. The 18-year-old has just returned to action following an 18-month lay-off with a knee injury. Moffatt, who joined United as a scholar in 2007, signed for Altrincham in time to play in Monday's draw with Chester.
