Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic's agent has dismissed reports that he could move away from Old Trafford.
Vidic, 27, has been an integral part of the United side that won the Premier League and Champions League double last season and remains on course for an unprecedented quintuple of trophies this season.
Reports in Italy had suggested the Serbia international was interested in a move to AC Milan, but agent Silvano Martina claims his client is completely happy in Manchester.
United signed the commanding centre-back for £7million from Spartak Moscow three years ago.
"He plays for Manchester United and is not on the market," said Martina.
"There's no way an Italian club could sign him. They don't have the means and he is happy at Manchester.
"He is European and world champion and as a consequence, moving away could only be a step backward.
"Twice he was close to moving to Italy, once to Fiorentina and then to Inter."
