Zaki linked with City switch

Manchester City are the latest club to be linked with Wigan Athletic's in-from striker Amr Zaki. The Egypt international, who is on a season-long loan deal from El Zamalek, grabbed both the Latics' goals in the controversial 3-2 defeat at Liverpool on Saturday to bring his tally for the season to seven goals. Wigan boss Steve Bruce insists he has an agreement in principle with El Zamalek to sign Zaki at the end of his loan spell, but the striker has already been linked with a host of Premier League clubs. City have now joined that long list, with a statement from the Egyptian club reading: "A Zamalek delegation will fly to either Manchester or Abu Dhabi, not determined yet, to hold talks with City representatives over Zaki."
