WORLD CUP 2010: Gareth Barry boost for Fabio Capello as England ace vows to win fitness fight

England midfielder Gareth Barry insists he is making good progress in his bid to be fit for the World Cup. The Manchester City star did not join the provisional squad in Austria as he stayed at home to receive intensive treatment on his ankle injury. Barry suffered the injury in City's penultimate game of the season against Tottenham on May 5 but has vowed to make Fabio Capello's final 23.
