West Brom want Marton Fulop to get shirty with Scott Carson

West Bromwich Albion are ready to step up their interest in Sunderland goalkeeper Marton Fulop. Sportsmail revealed Albion's interest last month and Fulop has since rejected an offer to return to Manchester City where he had a spell on loan last season. Fresh challenge: Marton Fulop are wanted by Anderlecht and Olympiakos Anderlecht and Olympiakos are also interested but West Brom are now looking to offer around £900,000 to Sunderland for the 27-year-old, who has two years left on his contract. West Brom want a new keeper to challenge Scott Carson for the role of No 1 next season. They have also taken Sweden teenage goalkeeper Filip Joensson on a one-week trial.
