David Villa's agent insists there is no chance of the Spain international moving from Valencia to Manchester City in the January transfer window.
Reports on Tuesday suggested the 27-year-old was heading to Eastlands in a £60million deal but the striker's agent, Jose Luis Tamargo, claims he has held no talks with City and Villa will be staying at the Mestalla.
Tamargo told setanta.com: "At the moment, we are not speaking with any clubs, as David Villa is trying to make history with Valencia.
"Until that day and, despite the fact everybody is aware that Valencia are facing economic difficulties, David was always paid on time and never had to complain about anything.
"These are just rumours emanating from the English press that the Spanish one rewrite, but, believe me, there's absolutely nothing."
