The transfer of Arsenal defender Kolo Toure to Manchester City has drawn closer after he passed a medical this afternoon.
The Ivory Coast international is now set for talks over personal terms at Eastlands before completing a move which could fetch the Gunners up to £16million.
However, the move will be delayed while a severence package between Arsenal and the player is discussed.
The two parties are thought to be at odds over the package at the time being and any move cannot be completed until the issue is resolved.
Toure's departure will see the last surviving regular of the 'Invincibles' team of 2003/04 leave the Emirates Stadium.
