THE 2009/10 SACK RACE: McCall takes casualty list to 30 for the season

The total of managers who have left their posts this season reached 28 this week as Stuart McCall parted company with League Two outfit Bradford. The total number of departures last season was 54, including 11 Barclays Premier League bosses - Alan Curbishley, Kevin Keegan, Juande Ramos, Harry Redknapp, Roy Keane, Tony Adams, Luiz Felipe Scolari, Ricky Sbragia, Guus Hiddink, Steve Bruce Wigan, Tony Mowbray - who either resigned or were fired. The first sacking this season was Norwich's Bryan Gunn, who was shown the door  after the 7-1 thrashing of Norwich by Colchester.
