Tevez to be stripped of captaincy

Roberto Mancini is set to strip Carlos Tevez of the Manchester City captaincy, BBC Sport understands.The two met on Friday afternoon at the club's Carrington training ground to discuss the striker's transfer request. City play Everton on Monday with Mancini considering handing the armband to Kolo Toure or Vincent Kompany.
