Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has admitted that he is prepared to listen to offers for former England international Danny Mills.
Reports on Tuesday morning said Eriksson had placed Mills, Ousmane Dabo and Paul Dickov on the transfer list and the Swede has now confirmed that ex-Leeds man Mills is likely to leave Eastlands.
"I have known Danny Mills a long, long time. He played a whole World Cup for England in Japan and did very well," Eriksson told City's official website.
"Danny Mills is a super professional football player and is probably one of the fittest we have here. But sometimes maybe it's time to move on and I'm sorry about that.
"He is a nice man, a good lad to have around and gives everything out there. You always know what you get from Danny and that's 100 per cent. He doesn't have any other gear other than 100 per cent."
The 30-year-old has made only 47 starts for City since his free transfer switch from Leeds three years ago and spent two months on loan with Hull City last term.
