Sven swoops for Garrido

Manchester City have wrapped up the signing of left-back Javier Garrido for £1.5million from Real Sociedad.
The 22-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the Citizens, becoming the latest new recruit by Sven-Goran Eriksson since he took charge at Eastlands last month.
Garrido had been with Sociedad since the 2003-04 season, scoring once in more than 80 appearances for the Basque club, who were relegated from the Primera Liga last season.
"A chance to play in the Premier League does not come every day and it is very difficult to reject," Garrido commented to the Spanish press.
Sociedad coach and former Fulham manager Chris Coleman had earlier admitted that Garrido was set to leave the Anoeta.
He said: "Manchester City have shown a lot of interest in Javi.
"Although I don't want to sell him the financial situation we're in means we can't turn down the offer.
"Our primary objective is to get back to the top-flight and, although it will be hard without Javi, we cannot afford to reject the bid."
