Sven cools Elmander talk

New Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has played down talk that he is looking to bring in Toulouse frontman John Elmander to bolster his strikeforce.
Elmander, 26, scored 11 goals in 32 games for his French club last season and is already a summer transfer target for Ligue 1 champions Lyon.
However, City are also believed to be in the hunt, although Eriksson was cool over the prospects of landing his compatriot.
He told the Manchester Evening News: "Elmander is a very good striker.
"He has had a tremendous development during the last two years and is a proven international.
"He is a very interesting player, but that does not mean he will play for the Blues next season."
