Manchester City winger Trevor Sinclair insists he is happy at the club and is targeting a regular spot in the first team.
The 33-year-old former England international had not been part of Stuart Pearce's first-team plans for two months until he came on as a substitute in Sunday's FA Cup tie at Sheffield Wednesday.
"I've made it clear that I want to stay at the club," Sinclair told City's official website.
"It's down to me now to try and show some good form. I need to get in the team and stay in the team and put some good performances in and twist the gaffer's arm to keep me on.
"I feel fit. I still do the running with the lads and still feel up there with the fittest of the bunch. I'm enjoying it and enjoying training so I don't want to stop playing for City yet."
Sinclair has made 76 Premiership appearances for City since moving to the club from West Ham United in a £2.5million deal in July 2003.
He started his career at Blackpool and has also played for QPR.
