Greece international Georgios Samaras is looking forward to starting a new chapter in his career after completing his permanent transfer from Manchester City to Celtic.
The 23-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Bhoys after spending the second half of last season on loan at Celtic Park.
"I am really happy with this move and I think both sides are really happy," Samaras told Celtic's official website.
"Last season was four really enjoyable months for me and a great experience for me to play in both the Scottish Premier League and the Champions League.
"I think we finished in the best possible way, winning the championship and I am really proud of what we achieved.
"It was the best moment in my career so far and I am really happy that I have signed here and I hope that more good moments come for both me and the club."
Samaras scored six times in five starts and 16 substitute appearances during his loan spell with the SPL giants.
His time at Eastlands was an unhappy one following his £6million switch from Heerenveen in January 2006. Samaras scored only eight goals in 55 Premier League appearances for City.
