Robinho hits back at his critics and claims: I've been a success at City

Under-fire Brazil striker Robinho has defended his performances for Manchester City, saying he is totally dedicated to the club. The £34million club record signing has been criticised after a series of lacklustre displays - most notably away from home. His attitude and support for manager Mark Hughes has been brought into question but Robinho, back home in Brazil for World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Peru, said: 'I truly dedicate myself to my club. Under-fire: Robinho in training with the Brazil national team in Teresopolis 'Sometimes I am questioned, asking why I play better for thenational squad than at Manchester City. I am the same at both places,but Manchester City is one team and the Brazil national squad isanother. 'In all respect to Manchester City, who have good players, here Iplay with Kaka and Ronaldinho. It is totally different. But I believe Iam playing well at City and have scored 11 goals in the league.' City are believed to be ready to offload the 25-year-old in thesummer should the right offer come in and are interested in BayernMunich's Franck Ribery. They have also been linked again with an approach for Robinho's Brazil team-mate Ronaldinho.
