Robinho determined to sink Spurs and rule Europe with Milan

Robinho is confident AC Milan can win at White Hart Lane and end Tottenham's dreams of Champions League glory. The Italian giants arrive in north London 1-0 down from last month's first leg but former Manchester City forward Robinho insists the last-16 tie is far from over. 'Unfortunately, we lost the home leg in a difficult match,' said the Brazilian forward. 'And we conceded a goal when we were playing better but that does not mean we cannot win there. I honestly believe we can win in England. Warning: Milan forward Robinho expects to come out on top at Tottenham 'The Champions League is a great competition and unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to win it. So I hope to become a European champion here with Milan. 'It is a competition I love playing in, a difficult one, the toughest in European football. We hope to win it this season. And if not, we will try to win it over the coming years. 'Now I am enjoying this new and exciting time in Milan, with a great team. We're in good shape and ready to be champions.' Robinho was an expensive flop at Manchester City after arriving from Real Madrid for ?32.5million in 2008 and he had a spell at Santos on loan before his switch to Serie A last summer. The move paid off for both parties and table-topping Milan are chasing their first Italian championship title for seven years. Robinho added: 'The team are playing very well. We are happy we are top of the league. Of course there are still many matches left, but in my first season I feel I'm adapting well. I hope to carry on like this until the end of the season.'  Defoe: It would be just perfect to score my 100th Spurs goal against MilanBale and Van der Vaart set to start against Milan as Spurs go on the attackWolves 3 Spurs 3: Fletcher levels late after Defoe and Doyle hit doublesAll the latest Tottenham news, features and opinion  Explore more:People: Robinho Places: Madrid, Milan, London, United Kingdom, Europe
